Pileus umbrella

We’ve produced a fair few custom umbrellas in the past for our clients, but nothing like this one, which takes the rainy day blues into a completely different realm.

The Pileus umbrella has a projector in its handle that emits what would have to be one hell of ray of light to project photos or video onto the under belly of the old faithful umbrella. Customisation, insperiences are all the rage at the moment, but we are not completely sure about the latest promotional activity with Heinz.

The US ketchup giant, (why do they persist in calling it ketchup?) Heinz is offering a make-your-own custom ketchup label service as part of their 130th annivesary celebration. At $USD6 per bottle you can personalise whats on the front of the old sauce bottle at myHeinz.com and have shipped to you directly.

While this might sell more tomato sauce, Accure thinks this may be opening up a can of worms if some looney decided to create a label to tarnish the brand.

We would like to see the label: “Dead Horse” hit the Aussie market.

This re-branding has been tied to the Coke Side of Life camapigns which has kicked off world wide for Coke. We believe it will hit Oz sometime soon. More at ClickZNews. Read more »

Well, looks like Boony is rolling in the awards quicker than the man himself can down the VB’s. It wasn’t the Grand Prix award (which by the way, went to VW’s “FAST” campaign) but a Promo Lion at Cannes for Goerge Patterson Y&R adds another very respectable notch to the Boonanza belt. Read more »
