Teddy USB Drive
It seems there is nothing that can’t be turned into a USB drive these days. In our industry we’ve come across our fair share of crazy USB flash drives, some are fantastic and functional while others just sucked in terms of design. But despite the fact that every peripheral and it’s mum is operating via a USB connection and port space is now a premium on most people’s computers, the lure and ease of a flash drive finds a way to command space. It must be our infatuation with the term “plug n play”.

The USB drive has turned out to be just another product people and companies who use them and hand them out to staff are looking to customise. This latest example of “Big Ted gets stuck” wins my vote for originality. In addition to being a very handy device, it’s bound to get people laughing around the cubicles and I’m sure everyone can do with more of that. This comes courtesy of Fosfor gadget’s Top 10 Weirdest USB Drives 2007 - yes that’s right a top 10 list for USB drives! Hmmm. Apparently this is not the first list either. You can see the original list here.

(drumroll…) here’s the list, you can check out the pics on the site:

10. USB puppet Bags - a bit gimpy for my liking but hey if you’re into it!

9. The Altoids USB Mod - i don’t even know what an Altoid is? Must be wierd!

8. The USB mince pie - because we all need a snack and we can’t get off our ass to get it.

7. Wooden USB drives - just lame.

6. The Holy Bible drive - why not? I’m sure modern day clergy are nuts about this!

5. Crazy Rabbit USB - Don’t know why it’s crazy, maybe it comes alive and bites your fingers off.

4. The bowling ball USB - WTF!

3. The Chewbacca drive - Looks home-made but I like it.

2. The humping dog USB - Need I say more?

1. The Teddy USB memory
