Time Line 1900-2050
Back in January we told you about Trend Blend 2007+, a collaborative piece of work by the guys at What’s Next (nowandnext.com) and Future Exploration network. It was a good piece of work and now Richard from What’s Next has given us a new map - The 1900-2050 Time Line!

The map picks out and the stakes innovations from years 1900 to 2050. OK so there are 47 years that haven’t occurred yet but whats wrong with a bit of future gazing? They’re predictions afterall and we’re told again not to take it so seriously. There are no claims of being Amadeus here!

The innovation timeline was something originally produced as an illustration for 2007 +Ten trends: Predictions and Provocations report by nowandnext.com but it has since been tweaked to include extra ideas to 2050 (when we may have an artificial brain). The timeline is offered in the same spirit as the 2007 trend map - it’s open source so people are encouraged to adapt or play around with it or use it in anyway they like.

Full Time Line here.
