Well, looks like Boony is rolling in the awards quicker than the man himself can down the VB’s. It wasn’t the Grand Prix award (which by the way, went to VW’s “FAST” campaign) but a Promo Lion at Cannes for Goerge Patterson Y&R adds another very respectable notch to the Boonanza belt.

The campaign was commended for its integrated approach and of course the above average brand awareness (75%) generated by the ever popular talking figurine. Glenn Condie from Maverick, an Australian jury member at Cannes had this to say: “I love Boonie and was worried that he wouldn’t translate, but it did - jury members from 15 other countries got it,”.

Well done again to the guys at Patts. We at Accure are feeling a little left out, however this may all change next month with the announcement of the APPA Pyramid Awards. With some luck, Boony will triumph again!
